The earliest records of spinning date back nearly five millennia in Peru. Colored cotton -- it has always existed in nature. The Incas used it in their textiles. Khaki was first made in India from brown cotton. In the United States, slaves grew brown and green cotton in their personal home gardens, since they were forbidden from growing white cotton that they might sell.

Today, color-grown cotton is produced in natural cream, beige, brown, rust, chocolate, mauve and avavado shades. The "O" Collection of hand loomed pillows and throws are created in shades of green and brown and natural.
